Maryland Military Coalition


The Maryland Military Coalition is a registered non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization, comprised of prominent Maryland-based veteran and military groups, that seeks to protect and enhance the well-being of the uniformed services community -- including currently serving, veterans, retirees and their families and survivors -- by raising awareness and advancing legislative proposals and policies before the Maryland General Assembly and the Office of the Governor.

Coalition Supports Property Tax Exemption for Severely Disabled Veterans
Senate Bill 258 would expand the existing property tax credit for disabled veterans by lowering the threshold from 100% disability to 80% disability. Helps qualifying surviving spouses of individuals who died in the line of duty. Learn More>>

Governor Hogan proposes legislation to make all military retirement pay exempt from state income tax.

Coalition Supports Bill to
Expand Polling Place Access
at Colleges and Military Bases Military members would be allowed to register to vote online using their Department of Defense Common Access Cards if the bill passes.
